Exuvie de Cigale

Le terme exuviae (pluriel de exuvia) désigne, en zoologie, les restes ou structures laissés par un animal lors de sa mue, comme l’exosquelette des insectes, crustacés ou arachnides. Ces vestiges témoignent du passage d’un stade de vie à un autre et sont étudiés pour comprendre le développement et le cycle vital des espèces.
